The Bears need a head coach that can improve their defense, and Teryl Austin would be a great candidate. The season before Austin became the Lions defensive coordinator the Lions gave up 23.5 points per game. Under Austin the Lions gave up 17.6 points per game and were the number one ranked rush defense in the league giving up 69.3 rushing yards per game. At 49 years old, I believe Austin has done enough in his first year as defensive coordinator to earn the job.
